Hi all. I knit and crochet but haven't gone much beyond afghans dishcloths and flowers snowflakes and the like. What type of measuring tape do you use for garment making and am I the only one who doesn't want to knit or crochet a sweater? I've got Barbara Walkers Knitting from the top and I think I could use it if I could measure gauge and width and length correctly. I want to make nice things that fit but feel limited by my ability to measure. What other tips do you have for garment construction as a blind knitter or crocheter? Look forward to some new ideas.
